Zhen Dim Sum restaurant, is the new school snack shop, presenting Dim Sum dishes at any time during the day.

This Branch is part of a group of restaurants around Macau under the same name. They combine traditional and innovative methods, focusing on hand made Dim Sum.

​

But what is Dim Sum? Essentially it is a Chinese meal of bite sized portions served in small steamer bamboo baskets or on plates, that contains combinations of meats, vegetables, seafood and fruits. 

 

This meal still very popular in China,  you can have it, at any time during the day.

This was our first experience with this type of food and type of restaurant. Approaching Chinese culture.

We ordered: Baked Crispy Barbecue Pork Buns, Selected Steamed Dim Sum Platter,  Steamed Minced Pork Dumplings Filled with Superior Soup, Steamed Rice Flavour Rolls with Barbecue Pork  and Vegetables and Boiled Pork Congee with Salted and Preserved Eggs.

It is healthy food!, with plenty options to choose  from Dim Sum. Presentation of the plates is in different ways, some of them comes in a bamboo steam basket or regular plates. Wow! no words to describe how nice it is, each single plate is above standard taste, we were surprised with all the food. Perfect  for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. you can order sweet or salty Dim Sum with different filling options, it is an explosion of flavours in your mouth. The restaurant serves a small bowl with soy sauce plus vinegar, very nice to highlight the taste, according to our experience you can trayed with or without sauce.  Definitely  we enjoyed it from the beginning until the last bite. The quality of food is very good and the best of all is the price! 

 

Perfect to order many items at the same time.

The place has a seating area indoor. It can accommodate over 50 customers. It has a nice fashion design with interesting pictures on the wall taken from Macau in their 60´s, he waitresses service is good. The staff are nice in general, the service time after  ordering is between 5 to 10 minutes, they are very efficient.

  

The Zhen Dim Sum is open everyday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
